Saltwater recently announced the acquisition of Mayven Studios, a leading engineering and design agency, started in San Francisco, now with software engineers around the world.
Founded in 2015 by Connor Hood and Nate McGuire, Mayven Studios brings extensive website development, application development, UX/UI design expertise and insight to the growing portfolio of Saltwater companies and works with a broad range of tech companies and consumer categories in global markets, from Bay Area technology companies to global CPG brands, spanning North America and Europe.
Mayven Studios has developed a reputation for scalable technical solutions and a hard-working engineering team for clients such as Andreessen Horowitz, Mixpanel, Segment, Lightspeed Venture Capital, Emergence Capital, Lagunitas, Hello Cake, Pachama, Workrise, Cengage, and Audacy. The agency will join Saltwater’s portfolio of technology and publishing companies, and focus on scaling opportunities for existing talent and clients and expanding Saltwater’s presence in the design and engineering space.
Mayven Studios will enhance existing client experiences and Saltwater’s ability to scale technology companies it partners with. The acquisition is part of Saltwater’s growth strategy, focused on to advance its core operational capabilities in design and engineering.
