When Famebit was acquired by YouTube, Mayven was charged with helping integrate the influencer platform into the world’s largest start-up, Google. Partnering with the brand and marketing team, Mayven helped relaunch the new site and custom app to let creators keep creating and brands to reap the rewards.
Famebit connects video influencers with brands and their media partners to create socially shareable videos. Products and services are promoted by creators sharing a mix of unboxing videos, product endorsements and video reviews. Famebit’s parent company, Google approached Mayven with the need to recruit more creators and brands by bringing it into the YouTube family.
In addition to a new marketing site, an Android app was also needed to enable the largely mobile network of creators, who use their devices to record, edit and broadcast on their social channels.
Mayven developed marketing site and Android app in collaboration with the Google team. Via the app, users can log in, pitch brands on content ideas, search for companies wanting to sponsor promotions, and manage all their accounts and payments. The marketing site for Famebit speaks to both content creators, brands and media agencies. Mayven’s interface is quick, clean and simple to follow — keeping it compelling to a wide range of audiences.
Famebit launched its Android app to strong success, quickly eclipsing thousands of downloads within weeks. The website stays true to the YouTube and Google brand families, deploying familiar fonts, colors, and icons that leverage the larger brands to the upstart's benefit.
